An arts education can begin at any age. Norval Foundation invites families of all ages to enjoy Family Weekend every month. The range of activities on offer includes yoga in the Sculpture Garden, artist talks, theatre, art treasure hunts and more.

Artist Talk: Mixed Company Panel Discussion | 1 May 12:00 | Free for all members and U18s
Norval Foundation Curator Khanya Mashabela will be in conversation with artist Jody Brand and writer and scholar Kim M. Reynolds. The conversation takes place within the context of Mixed Company, a thematic group exhibition curated by Mashabela, which explores the act of gathering as envisioned by eleven modern and contemporary artists from southern Africa.
Yoga in the Sculpture Garden | 2 May 09:00 | R150
Start your day with a morning yoga session. Join yoga teacher Akos at 09:00 on 2 May. Ticket includes a 1-hour session and admission to the Sculpture Garden. Places are limited to 15. Please bring your own yoga mat.
Georgina Gratrix Family Art Treasure Hunt | All weekend | Free for all members and U18s
Explore current exhibition The Reunion: Georgina Gratrix in Gallery 1 with a special self-guided Family Art Treasure Hunt. Norval's Art Treasure Hunts are designed to educate and inform while keeping the whole family entertained.
